In its pioneering efforts to create a sound data base in the field of Psychooncology, COPER is committed to high quality research. To meet this objective, COPER's scientific committee identifies priority areas for research, peer reviews research proposals, monitors and advocates the scientific merits of the research work to be carried out at COPER. The Committee comprises of eminent scientists from multiple disciplines, such as Oncology, Psychology, Psychiatry, Neurosciences, Statistics, Medical Social work etc. and is headed by Dr. W. In advocating highest scientific and ethical standards, COPER commits its members, Fellows and students to follow guidelines defined by its Ethics Committee, which monitors the ethics of clinical practice and research in Psychoonocology.
